What
is personal development?
Personal
development can be any of the following:
improving self-awareness
achieving integration and self-acceptance
realising your potential
achieving your aspirations
improving your quality of life
clarifying your beliefs
considering your purpose in life
becoming autonomous.
There are many different ways to learn about yourself,
to become more mature, confident, competent, content
and whole. For those who would appreciate some non-judgemental
help in a safe environment, I can offer my experience
and skills.
Whereas life coaching can help you improve the way you
perform, personal development can help you to understand
and accept who you really are.
Who needs personal development?
Many professions working with people, such as counselling
or different types of therapy, demand a commitment to
personal development. Some courses require documented
evidence of this work.
Other people may just want to feel more whole or more
accepting of themselves without having a specific problem
to bring.
I can help in both these situations.
What happens in a personal development session?
What
happens will depend very much on you, where you are
on your journey to self-discovery, how adventurous you
feel, whether you have any burning issues. We will usually
start by talking about you and your life and may go
on to doing some other verbal or non-verbal activities.
These sessions can be challenging but they can also
be great fun.
How much does it cost?
My fee for each 50-minute session is £50.
In some circumstances I may be able to offer a discount.
